Every choice leads somewhere. Some choices come with consequences.”

The warning was visible from the beginning, so this moment is not an accident.
“If you choose a color that is not on the warning sign, there are no punishments attached, and you can do whatever you want with it.
If you choose a color that is on the warning sign, break it.”
The work draws from everyday situations where warnings already exist, but our actions are still our own. Signs can guide us, but they don’t stop us. We make decisions based on curiosity, desire, or impulse, knowing there may be an outcome after the choice.
The act of breaking becomes the result of a conscious decision to ignore that warning. That became a small loss, but it stands in for larger situations where actions shape outcomes. The work invites reflection on how we move through decisions, how we accept their consequences, how we live with the outcomes of what we decide.
